The workshop will bring together researchers and industrial professional from the communities of advanced manufacturing, materials, geotechnical and structural engineering, construction and design to identify research opportunities in architected metamaterials for structures and provide recommendations to address these opportunities.

Review of the state-of-the-art of architected metamaterials related to civil infrastructure;

Identifying the challenges in using architected metamaterials in civil infrastructure, sharing the perspectives of the industry and the research community;

Developing recommendations for future research;

Facilitating research collaborations towards fulfilling these recommendations.
